Wonder Vinegar

Owning horses makes us superman and superwoman because of all the responsibilities that we have to fulfil for their complete satisfaction.  That includes sparing them our time, effort and money.  For every problem that is encountered by our horses, there are medications that we can easily buy, though sometimes it is really costly.  And what we might just need are the old time home remedies that are tested and proven through time and are for sure seen just in our homes and will cost nothing from our wallets.

Apple Cider Vinegar has been proven to be effective
as an insect repellent, and it can make hair coat shinier.

I introduce you vinegar. Vinegar has not only been flavoring our dishes but is a proven remedy to many costly problems.  Vinegar has been found a very good and natural insect repellent. All you have to do is mix and dilute it with water, contain it on a sprayer and spray directly at your horse.  For some, it is as easy as adding vinegar to the horse’s food, just like we do with ours.  Because it is natural, this chemical free remedy is the best solution to repel those bugs and insects from pestering your horse.

Some horses are also found to be prone to producing stones in their intestines, or the development of what science calls it enteroliths.  Vinegar can easily reduce this development by mixing an Apple Cider Vinegar on their food, just a cup of it and once to twice intake daily.  This way, the pH level in their gut is being reduced from stone formation. Good news is, horses even love the taste of vinegar on their food and they easily tolerate it in their system, and make it no problem for us forcing them to take the solution.

Ensure that your surroundings are conducive for a healthier living for your horses. Avoid flies that are vectors for equine parasites to prevent parasitic transmission. Protect your horse from various diseases brought by internal parasites; use equine dewormers that areboth effective and affordable!

What’s more is that vinegar is also one good solution to any horse stain there is.  If you find remedies from pet shops, it will be very expensive but with just the application of vinegar stain problems are easily gone.  In most cases, stains are found on horse’s tails appearing to be yellowish due to urine soak.  What you do is just soak its tail with vinegar not more than five minutes, observes the bubbles cutting through the urine and stains and it is removed.  And because vinegar is not bad for the hair it is instead a good stain remover and makes it shinier and healthier.
